DP World is one of the world's leading global trade enablers — operating over 150 ports and terminals across more than 80 countries, handling approximately 10% of global container traffic, and contributing over 33% of Dubai's GDP. When the company launched a proprietary internal AI platform for its global workforce, the communication needed to match the scale and ambition of the technology. We created an indoor CGI hologram film that made the invisible visible — turning a software launch into a cinematic experience

Indoor CGI Hologram Film for DP World Internal AI Platform Launch

THE CONCEPT
DP World's internal AI platform — a proprietary ChatGPT-style system built for the company's global operations — needed to be introduced to the organisation in a way that communicated both the technology's capability and the significance of the moment. The brief called for something that felt genuinely new, not a conventional product explainer. The concept was built around the idea of a holographic projection appearing inside a real corporate environment — as though DP World had actually installed holographic display infrastructure to unveil the platform. We produced multiple shots from different camera angles, each treating the hologram as a real, physical presence in the space. The CGI projection visualises the AI platform in motion — showing how it works, what it can do, and how it integrates into the company's workflow — through a photorealistic holographic display that exists within the actual office environment. The mixed reality CGI approach makes the technology feel tangible and impressive without requiring a live technical demonstration. By treating the launch as a physical event rather than a screen recording, the film communicates the platform's significance through the format itself: if DP World is projecting this in three dimensions inside their offices, this is something that matters.

Why it worked

The hologram mechanic communicates two things simultaneously: the sophistication of the technology being launched, and the seriousness with which DP World is treating its AI adoption. An internal software launch filmed as a screencast tells the audience what the product does. A CGI hologram appearing in a real corporate space tells them what it means. For an enterprise-scale organisation launching a proprietary AI platform, the production format is itself a signal of organisational commitment — and that signal travels further internally than any presentation slide.

When to use CGI like this

Indoor CGI hologram campaigns are highly effective for enterprise and corporate brands launching internal technology platforms, proprietary AI tools, or significant operational innovations where the communication goal is to create belief and excitement around something that exists as software rather than as a physical product. If the technology is invisible — a platform, a system, a process — CGI production that makes it visible and physically present communicates its value in a way that conventional internal communications cannot. This format is particularly strong for organisations in logistics, finance, energy, and technology where the scale of the company demands communication that matches the scale of the innovation.

ABOUT US

HAUT CGI is a global CGI studio. We produce CGI and FOOH content for product launches and marketing campaigns worldwide. We believe video with a story behind performs differently.
Our A-R-P framework — Attention → Retention → Performance — means every asset is built to do three things: stop the scroll, hold the viewer, and land the brand message. Beautiful is the baseline. Story and performance are the goal.
